  • Caladh Glen & Harbour 

    • 4-5km on tracks

    • Small waterfalls

    • Great views along whole track

    • Part of Cowal Way

    • Hidden viewpoint of Burnt Islands

    • option to detour to old Lilly Pond 

    • option to detour to Hill Cottage and New Road

  • Kilfinan Community Forest - Reservoir Walk

    • Approx 1.5km

    • Dry path and track

    • Uphill out and downhill back

Tougher Walks

    Glenan Bay - Portavadie
    • Forest Walk and Shore Walk​
    • Shore Walk is easiest, with decent shoes
    • Forest Walk is uphill and through boggy areas (which includes Shore Walk)
    • Drive to Portavadie and park in area on right after marina entrace, but before ferry.

  • Stillaig Farm

  • Portavadie Loop


  • Kilfinan Community Forest - Barr  Aith

    • Difficult hill climb
    • Correct shoes and supplies needed
    • Best done after dry spell
    • Set off from house
    • At least 2.5 hours to summit and back

Follow path past Victorian Falls and look for sign to Barr Aith

  • Giants's Armchair

    • Steep but relatively short walk

    • Great views

    • 1 hour 

    • Out of village on main road for approx 250 yards

    • Steps on left of road - across from Parking layby (on right)
