    • Between Tighnabruiach and Kames

    • Open weekdays, between 10am and 5pm (subject to change)

    • Not the cheapest fuel, but valuable as it is local

    • Mark may also help with any mechanical issue

Tools, Toys & Bike Hire

  • Tam's Tool Store

    • Unfortunately now CLOSED

Gifts, Clothing, Chandlery

  • Portavadie - 10 min drive

    • There is a small store in the Portavadie Marina complex which sells a mix of stuff, including snacks, clothes and gifts.

    • For instance, I managed to get wellies and a hoodie for my kid.

    • Note, there is no reference in Google Maps or Google Business, but it does exist.

    • Walk along the front of the marina buildings, past the restaurants and it is on the ground floor.

  • Charity & Gift Shops

    • There are shops in Tighnabruaich which may have what you are looking for

Plants & Pets

  • There is a small business dedicated to plants and pet supplies approx 5 min drive

  • Although the business is not registered on Google Business or Google Maps, it is up and running

  • It can be found as the first house on the left heading to Portavadie at the Crossroads past Millhouse.

  • Tighnabruaich Art Gallery in the village is currently CLOSED

  • Hayshed Gallery, Carry Farm, approximately 2 miles past Kames in the coast road

Dunoon 

Dunoon is the closest major town with larger supermarkets, Morrisons and Co-Op, garden centres, clothes shops and the usual small town stores.

Can be a tricky drive on many single-track roads.
